The length of your pool remodel depends on the work involved. Water blasting and re-plastering usually take 7 days or less, while adding tile or coping can extend it to 10-14 days.
We strive to complete every project efficiently, minimizing downtime so you can enjoy your pool sooner.

Pebble Tec® uses natural rock and specially formulated cement, making it a more premium option. The installation process requires trained and certified professionals, with ongoing education to ensure top-quality work. Additionally, Pebble Tec® offers a longer lifespan and requires less maintenance compared to traditional marcite finishes.
Painting may improve the pool’s appearance in the short term, but it's only a temporary solution. Over time, the paint will need to be waterblasted off before re-plastering, making it a less durable option in the long run.
The timing largely depends on the weather. In the spring, the frost needs to be out of the ground, and temperatures must remain above freezing. In the fall, as long as temperatures stay above freezing at night, everything should proceed smoothly.
We generally recommend keeping the pool filled and running for at least 28 days after completion. This allows time to balance the water, stabilize the pH, and let the finish properly cure.
Our crews handle multiple jobs in a day, and tasks like draining a pool may only take a few hours, which means your pool could be 2nd or 3rd on the schedule. If we anticipate any delays or changes to our planned arrival, we will typically reach out to inform you.
Waterblasting, or hydro blasting, is a cleaner and safer alternative to traditional sandblasting. Unlike sandblasting, which sends dust into the air and can coat cars, roofs, and landscaping with harmful debris, waterblasting creates no airborne dust and doesn’t leave behind any waste to dispose of.
With 40,000 PSI of pressure and water moving at 1,500 mph, it’s much more powerful and effective than sandblasting, which only uses 150 PSI and air moving at 6.25 mph. Waterblasting is simply the best way to prepare your pool surface for refinishing—cleaner, faster, and more efficient. Waterblasting creates a better mechanical bond for your new plaster surface
We do our best to minimize any impact on the area around your pool, but a remodel can still create some dust. To help keep things clean, we recommend moving pool furniture and potted plants away from the pool before waterblasting starts. We’ll cover any plants with plastic to protect them during the process. Also, it’s a good idea to close your windows while we’re waterblasting to keep dust from getting inside.
We’ll begin the filling process once our work is complete. Typically, your pool will take about 24 to 48 hours to fill the pool.
